Sustainable building

To transform historic buildings into an eco-sustainable hotel, we relied on the expertise of Casa Clima in Bolzano, a leader in energy and environmental certification. Every construction choice combines tradition and sustainability:

Technologies for energy saving

The climate control system relies on high-efficiency heat pumps, perfectly integrated with our solar thermal and photovoltaic systems. All appliances have been selected from the highest energy efficiency classes, while a smart home system monitors and optimizes the energy consumption of the entire facility. The lighting is entirely LED, based, ensuring maximum efficiency and long lifespan.

For water management, we have chosen to use an artesian well with specific filtration systems for garden and pool irrigation, thus reducing potable water consumption.

Everyday sustainability

Our commitment to the environment is reflected in small daily actions. Starting with breakfast, where we carefully select local and organic products: most of the specialties on our buffet come from Liguria and southern Piedmont, supporting local producers and reducing transport impact.

To explore our valleys in an eco-friendly way, we provide guests with electric bikes: a fun and sustainable way to discover the area. In our spaces, from the reception to the rooms, we use only ecological or recycled paper, and every area is equipped with recycling bins, including a collection point for used batteries.

Room maintenance follows the same environmentally friendly principle: all cleaning products used are over 95% ecological and biodegradable. Even the courtesy set has been redesigned with sustainability in mind: we have minimized packaging by installing soap dispensers in showers and sinks. The products, strictly Made in Italy, are olive oil-based and free from parabens.
